Ousmane Mane

Living on a small island gives an inspiration that led me into visual art. I started painting in my early childhood. As a young man I used to spend most of time drawing images with different colors. My art is freedom of creation, an invitation to permanent and endless days of learning. I have been painting from for several years; have permanent conversations with my clients which gives me much experience and consideration of human beings. It’s through my art I express myself freely. My artistic expression appears in different ways: such as melodies, paining and photograph that I see as love and beauty. I hope people from everywhere share my vision of life. Painting is part of everyday life. Living on Goree Island which was one of most important slavery center was also a source of my inspiration.

As for the human trafficking, it is one of the worst things that humanity has to eradicate by any means.
