Also on view will be hand-painted Thangkas, elaborate compositions depicting Buddhist deities and religious scenes used as a meditation tools, three masterful works by Nigerian artist Silas Adelanke Adeoye who employs pointillism techniques to tell his stories, Senegalese sand-art and original paintings from West Africa and Vietnam.

The Human Trafficking Center from the University of Denver and Praxus will share information on human trafficking as a global and local issue. Ba Djbril Ngawa, Project HARTwork's featured artist, will talk about his personal experience with human trafficking in his home country of Mauritania and share his thoughts about how he uses art a vehicle for raising awareness and change.
